Smack Smack

One of the worst things I've heard and seen people do who have no concept how easy it is to do, but annoying when you don't do it right!! CHEW gum. So when you chew gum, do you intentionally pop it repeatedly to be a distraction or for your own self gratification? we giving u the evil eye!! Smackers be ware.

Onion Rub

Did she say she could make an onion rub to rub down in to bring out the cold in ya, but you can't go outside though....? Man this was too funny. These 2 ladies were talking so loud, I was like OMG she's not giving her own homemade remedies out to Marta.

You Heard me?

I've been off the Marta for a week, but back on the train this week as life is back to normal. Yesterdays ride was too funny. This guy gets on the train and is quiet for a while then imagine it being really quiet on the train. Then all of a sudden he start talking really loud using his imaginary hand (cell phone)...as he talks out loud to himself.

On the way to work this lady jumps on the train at the last minute all late. Then she does the ultimate no no, she's trying to hold the train automatic door with her arm. "Come on Shaquaun get on, hurry up." So one person jumps on, then she's holding it for a second person. Hurry up ya'll the trains leaving. UH, no its not because you're holding the door!!!

Transportation Stories - Whats yours?

I'm not sure if there can be anything like riding the Marta in ATL, but I bet someone else has a Tale from their own transportation experiences. I remember the "T" when I lived in Fort Worth Texas, but never rode the train until taking a job downtown Atlanta. This morning mine was 2 fold, a blessing because I watched a lady sit down right in front of me as she opened her bible and began to read the word for the day. After she arrived at her destination she got up and immediately a young gentleman took her seat. I think it was meant for him to sit in that same spot where the word had just been read, because he was clearly HIGH as a kite. I appreciated the word and that a place had been set for him to sit just where he needed. Things that make you go hmm 2 times!

Enforcement Travels

He gets on the Marta with all black attire with a shirt that read "ENFORCEMENT." He wore a badge throwed across his chest, black gloves, and a steel black pistol strapped to his hip. Suddenly he sits down beside me. I was encouraged that the law was present, but soon discovered he had on a bluetooth and you know what.....pressed hair???

Rides like this you can't believe the law is really protecting you.

Quiet Rides

Today was a nice easy ride on the Marta. I can finally see the light at the end of all these tunnels that have been dark, or lights going out. The station is definately moving better and less cramped than yesterday. Thank God for tunnels that are clearer than yesterday. Now can ole' girl thats talking on her cell phone behind me take it down about 10,000.
